Alexandria, VA – TransForce, a recognized leader in the transportation and logistics industry, announced today that Craig Ferguson is the President of Recruiting Operations, effective January, 2023.
Before this role, Craig acted as the Managing Partner for Drive360 Logistics, one of the largest providers of talent in the transportation industry. In 2019, TransForce acquired Drive360 Logistics and Craig continued to lead the business unit operations, resulting in an enhanced service offering to provide carriers, trucking companies and private fleets with effective direct-hire solutions.
In his new role, Craig will manage and oversee all driver recruitment operations at TransForce, focusing on optimization of the recruitment pipeline, processes and infrastructure to create more value for TransForce customers nationwide. Specifically, Craig will be focused on reducing time to job placement.
“We are pleased that Craig is joining our team as President of Recruiting Operations. Our organization has learned much from Craig working with him as a partner at Drive360 Logistics. He has a proven track record of success, and we look forward to applying his expertise to our integrated driver recruitment program–which is a primary area of impact for our customers,” says Dennis Cooke, TransForce President and CEO.
Craig is a former professional athlete turned entrepreneur with expertise in driver recruitment marketing, processes, and technologies. With a competitive and entrepreneurial spirit, he is concentrated on delivering maximum ROI to TransForce’s carrier partners, who leverage the company’s services to fill driving roles.
“I am happy to be stepping into this role at TransForce,” says Ferguson. “Integrating the capabilities of our vast network of recruiters is an opportunity to create more value for TransForce customers, independent of which services they utilize. Furthermore, it’s an opportunity for us to ensure every driver in our network is placed in a job that works best for their particular situation.”
Born into a family trucking and logistics business, he worked with drivers and learned how to run logistics operations at an early age. He then spent 14 years playing in the National Hockey League and other professional leagues in Europe and North America before reentering the trucking and logistics industry as the founder of Drive360 Logistics.
Ferguson has his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Economics from Yale University.
