Alexandria, VA – TransForce, a recognized leader in the transportation and logistics industry, announced today that Derek Yung has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Yung joins TransForce from Wine.com, the nation’s leading online wine retailer, where he served as CFO.

Yung has over 15 years of executive-level experience in high-tech, high-growth companies in both the public and private sectors, and has a strong track record of leading c-level initiatives, developing finance teams, and leading corporate strategy development and implementation. With a long history of impactful CFO roles, Derek has also worked with eHealth, an omnichannel health insurance marketplace, and Hotwire of Expedia Group, one of the most recognizable online travel agency brands. He has also held CFO and senior finance roles with Nextag and LeapFrog Enterprises. In his new role at TransForce, Derek will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team and oversee all finance functions for the company.

Yung has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
