The Women In Trucking Association recently announced its 2023 Top Women to Watch in Transportation, which includes TransForce’s Regional Vice President of the Western Territory, Lisa Mitchell, for her outstanding contributions to the transportation industry.
Lisa has been a devoted and passionate leader with TransForce for over 20 years. During her time with the company, she has consistently demonstrated her commitment to uncovering solutions that benefit carriers and drivers.

Lisa's passion for the industry led her to take on complex legislation and become an expert on California's AB5 legislation to advocate for her client’s best interests.
Lisa's leadership and activism in the local court system led her to develop a solution that would benefit both carriers and drivers. As a result, her efforts helped hundreds of drivers retain their routes.
"Getting involved in local legislation is more accessible than most think. I urge drivers and companies to learn and understand our laws. Knowledge is power; the more you know, the better you can protect yourself,” says Lisa.
